British short track national team on the way to the Olympic Qualification Audi ISU World Cup Short Track in Budapest was supposed to arrive in the Hungarian capital 16:20 on Sunday. For everybody’ surprise, however, only Team Ireland landed with the plane, therefore the bus arrived at the official hotel without Shaolin Sándor Liu’s long-term girlfriend Elise Christie and her teammates.
Later the British federation notified the organizers about that the team has missed their connection flight in Amsterdam, so half of the group will arrive at the hotel Sunday late night, meanwhile the other half only on Monday morning.
