Endorsed by the International Skating Union (ISU), the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships® is an annual event that gathers the best junior figure skaters from across the globe to vie for the title of World Junior Champion. Over 150 athletes from an expected 40+ countries will compete across four disciplines: men’s, women’s, pairs, and ice dance. The world title is regarded as the pinnacle of achievement in junior figure skating.

All competition events for the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships® 2025 will be held at Főnix Arena in Debrecen, located at Kassai út 28, 4028 Hungary.

Practice sessions will be conducted at Debrecen Ice Hall, situated at Derék u. 33, 4031 Hungary.

The slogan “Future Meets Here” emphasizes the significance of the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships® 2025 as the stage where the next generation of world champions will compete. This event, held in Debrecen, Hungary, brings together the top junior skaters from around the globe, offering a glimpse of the future stars who will shape the sport in the years to come. The competition is a pivotal moment for these young athletes, as they strive to make their mark on the world stage.

The competition schedule is subject to change based on the number of entries from participating countries and qualifying scores. We recommend regularly checking the Program section on our website for the latest updates. The practice schedule will be published after 28 January 2025.

Parking Information

The parking lot at Főnix Arena will be reserved exclusively for the organizing committee during the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships® 2025. Unfortunately, this means that parking will not be available for spectators or participants directly at the arena.

Unfortunately, we do not offer the option to reserve parking spots in advance. All parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please plan accordingly.

Be prepared for the temperature

The temperature inside Főnix Arena during the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships® 2025 will be kept cold to maintain optimal ice conditions for the athletes. Spectators should expect a chilly environment and plan accordingly.

We recommend dressing in warm layers and bringing additional items such as blankets, scarves, gloves, and hats to ensure you stay comfortable throughout the event. Insulated clothing and winter coats are also advised.

Yes, you are welcome to bring blankets, scarves, and other warm items to the arena. These will help you stay cozy during the competition, especially during longer sessions.

If you start to feel too cold, take breaks by moving around or visiting warmer areas within the venue if available. If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to event staff, who can direct you to a warmer spot or provide further help.
